 MESSAGE FROM THE NEW MSD DIRECTOR
I would like to express my great words of gratitude and appreciation to the Malaysian government for this appointment and for this I am very much indebted. It is indeed the greatest of honour to me to be holding this esteemed position, to be in the helm of steering the education sector, for the government. Allow me first to introduce myself: My name is Posiah Mohd Isa, a senior lecturer from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM). I was born in Melaka and had my early education in Convent Bukit Nanas Kuala Lumpur. I have a Bachelor Degree in Economics and Masters in Public Administration from University of Malaya and PhD in Educational Psychology from Keele University, United Kingdom. Having been in the education arena for more than two decades warrants me to relay the aspiration I hope to set amongst all, in this sector, not only to meet the country’s demand and direction, but also for the global community. The dawn of the 21st Century has now seen the birth of its first decade, hence the challenges and prospects of education which is the trajectory of the development of human capital continues to play its role more dynamically.
